Legendary USC Football Coach Hands in His Resignation, Leaving Him Free to Accept Seahawks Position

Pete Carroll resigned his position as head coach at USC. He is getting ready to receive the honor of coaching the Seahawks.

The L.A. Times and L.A. Daily News reported that Carroll had resigned as head coach of Southern California on Sunday. And an NFL insider told the AP that Carroll could formally sign a contract with the Seahawks on Monday.
